I AM A RUNWAY DIVA.
Okay, so I did miss the season opener of Project Runway Season 4 last night due to work but from what I've heard from fellow fashionistas who follow the show like true fanatics, I heard things were good but quite scattered. However, from what I've seen the designers produced some pretty good pieces for the first run, well most of them anyway. The 1st challenge this season was switched up as it normally consists of a "weird things" challenge. This time around each designers had to ransack three tents that were filled with more than $50,000 of fabric from MOOD. The challenge gave the designers the chance to present the judges with a garment that expressed who they are or their personal point of view. After viewing the pictures, I must say I'm pretty impressed. Competition is going to be fierce this season I can see that already. This season is also already buzzing to be the best one yet - as some of the biggest names in fashion, sports and design will guest star this season on “Runway.” Goody! And look at what the winner gets - can you say fab! An editorial feature on the winning designer will run in an issue of ELLE, the winner will walk away with a cash prize of $100,000 from TRESemmé professional hair care to start their own line, and will have the opportunity to sell a fashion line on Bluefly.com. Saturn will award the winner a 2008 Saturn Astra. Pure hauteness.

There is a good panel this season by the way. There is Heidi of course, Tim gunn and Nina Garcia from ELLE magazine are back and Michael Kors who is just amazing are all giving the who's in and out this season. I'm anticipating episode 2.
