TOP 10 TASTY CELEBRITY LOOKS OF THE WEEK!

EVERYDAY IS A FASHION SHOW FOR ME.
Yes! It's that time again my lovies where I showcase my personal top 10 fashionable looks of the week from our celeb fashionistas! We have some repeat offenders this week who are always out and about looking fantabulous. Such as my personal favorite Nicole Richie, Katherine Heigl, Kerri Washington and Thandie Newton. Can you spot any haute trends? ;)

YUMMY ITEM OF THE DAY: LANCOME PRECIOUS CARAT LIPGLOSS.

GIVE ME DIAMONDS OR GIVE ME DEATH.

PRECIOUS CARAT Lip Gloss Jewel - $40.00

At first glance what would you think this item above is? A rare jewel diamond perhaps that costs almost as much as a pair of Louboutins & a Balenciaga bag? Well, you'd be close - but no stiletto. This is actually a brand new lipgloss offered by Lancome cosmetics. The container shaped like a precious cut diamond is actually made of Swarovski Crystals. On the inside, prepare to open up to a transparent gloss with a bit of sparkle that can be worn alone or with a lipstick for that jewel-like finish. This precious jewel will run you $40 - kinda pricey for just a lipgloss but hey it surely beats going bankrupt to get the real diamonds right?

Extra Bite..I also stumbled across some Dior lipglosses who have simliar jewel inspired cases!

Dior Pretty Charms - $55.00

Jeweled Makeup Necklace - $90.00

You can pick up these items onine at

TASTY TRENDSPOTTER: ANIMAL BANGLES.

WILD THING. YOU MAKE MY STYLISH HEART SING.
My third eye - which I often refer to as my "fashion eye" has been noticing a cute trend for arm jewelry recently. I am morbidly obsessed with bracelets & bangles. So obsessed that I spent $62 on my last arm accessory splurge. What, you thought I was joking? lol. Anywho, I first noticed the animal bangles in one of my many frequented trips to my beloved Urban Outfitters. I tried on the white tiger bracelet which was way too cute & fit great but I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything that day. lol. So today, I decided to browse on over to the wonderful site of that known as, Net A Porter to see if any higher end designers have gotten into the rumble of the jungle too. My finding results = they sure have! I saw a designer by the name of Kenneth Jay Lane (whom I've never heard of) who had some gorgeous animal bangles. Check them out.
Guess what lovies! The Kenneth Jay Lane Bracelets are actually on SALE right now on Net a Porter, 40% off! How lovely is that? I live for the sale.
Kenneth Jay Lane Snake Head Bangle - was $175.00 ; now $105.00.
Kenneth Jay Lane Tiger Head Bangle - was $89.00 ; now $62.30.
Kenneth Jay Lane Tiger Head Bangle - was $89.00 ; now $53.40.

Are those bangles a little bit too out of your budget? Try some very similar bangles from Urban Outfitters! They are equally as chic as the pricier ones. You can barely tell the difference! Happy shopping my lovies. ;)

Tiger Enamel Bracelet - $28.00
Snake Enamel Bracelet - $24.00
Zebra Cuff Bracelet - $28.00

THE SCOOP: BRITISH FASHION AWARDS.

BRITISH FASHION AWARDS.

I just love the British fashion scene. Actually, I love fashion from all over the world. It's always interesting to see how similar or different fashion & trends are on the other side of the world. Most times, I'm usually inspired with my own looks from my fashionistas overseas! Last night was a HUGE night in British fashion as the British Fashion Awards took place in the UK. Awards were presented to those who have made the most outstanding contributions to British clothing design in the past year. The awards include that of British Designer of the Year, as well as awards to the 'most-fashionable' celebrities in other various fields. The awards are organized by the British Fashion Council.

DESIGNER THREADS
Was the memo sent out for all the designers to wear black? But hey, you can never go wrong with black. Everyone looked great. Especially the men! I love that scarf look on a man. It's classic. (see: Giles Deacon). Tres chic.

Designer Giles Deacon. Last year's designer of the year & who designed Agyness Deyn & Lily Allen's dresses for the awards.

Winner of the Designer Brand of the Year award, Anya Hindmarch, with actress Emilia Fox.

Designer Lulu Guinness holding one of her iconic fan purses.

New Designer of the Year, Christopher Kane, with actress Margo Stilley.

Winner of the Menswear Designer of the Year Award, Christopher Bailey.

Designer Stella McCartney who received the award for Best Designer of the Year.

FASHION MISSES
I'm happy to report there weren't too many fashion mistakes on the red carpet. But for the few I did catch, I tried to look at these outfits as fair as I could with my fashion eye. But in the end, they just didn't do it for me! And yes even designers commit fashion no-no's from time to time. (see: Vivienne Westwood) What in the world?

Jasmine Guinness in a black corseted dress. I just couldn't get with this dress. The fabric perhaps?

Daisy Lowe wanted to make sure she stood out from the crowd in body art head-to-toe and a strapless prom dress. Didn't work too well for me.

Fashion icon and couture collector Daphne Guinness. I normally love her but last night just wasn't her night. What is that skirt made out of ?!

Vivienne Westwood, who won Outstanding Achievement In Fashion Design looked rather festive (for a lack of meaner words). Just because you're a designer doesn't mean you can't look a mess too. Still love her though.

CURRENT CRAVING: BARBIE BY PATRICIA FIELD

Barbie Loves MAC campaign AD - - Spring 2007.

I'M A BARBIE GIRL, IN A BARBIE WORLD.

How can you not love Barbie? She's every girl's favorite childhood playmate. You know you wanted to be just like her when you grew up, I did. With that California girl spray on tan, that beyond perfect hourglass figure and fly celebrity like wardrobe, girls all over the world would dream of living the life of Barbie.

Earlier this year, we saw the blonde bombshell come to life with MAC cosmetics with Barbie Loves MAC. A limited edition color collection with an array of vibrant pink and nude products from blushes to lip glosses, all featuring that unforgettable Barbie logo.

As if that wasn't adorable enough, my beloved Patricia Field (Emmy Award winning stylist, best known from her Sex & The City fame) is setting out to bring us Barbie like we've never seen her before with her own collection of Barbie inspired apparel & accessories. I took a quick glance at the collection on Patricia's website and I love it. My favorite items are the halter dresses. They are the hauteness and are in true Barbie form & fashion.
